How to request account deletion

You can delete your Kippo account and associated data. Below is how deletion works and what to expect. If you prefer, you can also contact us directly for help.

Primary (recommended) - In the app
Use the Delete Account button in the app: Settings → Scroll to the bottom → Delete account. When you tap that button, your deletion request is queued and your account is scheduled for permanent deletion in 30 days.
Alternate - Request by email
If you can't access the app, email us at support@appkippo.com with the subject Account deletion request. Include the email address associated with your Kippo account and any relevant details.
What happens after you request deletion
Data removed
We permanently delete: account profile data (name, email), saved recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, and any other personal data stored for your account. Aggregated or anonymized analytics data may be retained.
Data we may retain
We may retain limited information for legitimate business needs such as fraud prevention, legal compliance, or tax records (for purchases) - only as long as legally necessary.
How to confirm deletion
After the 30-day period you will receive a confirmation email to the address we have on file confirming permanent deletion. If you don't receive that, contact support@appkippo.com.
Questions or disputes
If you didn't request deletion, or believe a deletion was made in error, email us immediately at support@appkippo.com. Include your account email and a short description.
